Mango
Egyptian mango is a portfolio, not a single variety. Eleven cultivars come into season between July and November and we structure programs around what the destination market actually wants. Keitt has long shelf life and ships well, the default for EU retail. Awees and Sukarya are the GCC specialty varieties that consumers ask for by name. Tymor and Zebdia handle processing volume. Whatever the spec, we pre-cool to 12 to 13 °C (never lower; chilling injury sets in fast on mango) and offer air shipment for premium retail or sea shipment for volume.
