Egyptian fresh produce, exported with the discipline buyers can plan around.
We have been doing this since 2009. 17 years of running fresh programs into Europe, the Gulf, and Central Asia. Long enough to know what works and to walk away from what does not.
Egypt's geography is the advantage.
The Nile Delta is one of the most productive farming regions on the planet. Upper Egypt has year-round sun and a long growing season. Beheira, Ismailia, Sharqia, and the Mediterranean coast give us the variety to run programs that span an entire calendar.
EgyptFreshExport was founded in 2009 to take that natural advantage and wrap it in something the international market values: predictable specs, certified quality, transparent cold-chain documentation, and on-time shipping. We work directly with growers, not through brokers. What we promise during program planning is what arrives at the destination port.
The catalogue covers four categories: citrus, table grapes, mangoes and specialty fruits, and vegetables. We serve 25+ destination markets out of the EU, GCC, and Central Asia. Each program runs with full traceability from grower to retailer shelf.
Four things that make a fresh-produce program work.
Direct grower relationships
We do not source on the open market. Every product line is tied to specific producing farms in specific regions of Egypt. That is what lets us commit to volume, spec, and date.
Certified source partners
We do not hold these certifications ourselves, we are an export partner. We work only with producing farms certified to GLOBALG.A.P. and packing houses certified to ISO 22000, ISO 9001, BRCGS Food Safety and FSSC 22000. Documentation copies travel with every shipment.
Cold chain set per product
Temperature is set per product, not per category. Mango at 12 °C. Grapes at 0 °C. Sweet potato at 13 to 15 °C. Reefer logs travel with every shipment.
Programs, not transactions
Most of our customers run multi-year programs. Once we know the retailer, the packaging spec, and the seasonality, we plan production a year out so the truck shows up the week it is needed.
Held by our farms and packing houses.
We are an export partner. The certifications below are held by the producing farms and packing facilities we source from, not by EgyptFreshExport directly. Documentation copies are issued per shipment so buyers can verify them.

GLOBALG.A.P.
Good Agricultural Practices. Held by the farms we source from. Covers food safety, sustainability and worker welfare on the producing farm.
ISO 22000
Food safety management system standard. Held by partner packing houses. Required by most EU retailers for category listings.
ISO 9001
Quality management system standard. Covers consistency, traceability and continuous improvement at the partner packing facility.
BRCGS Food Safety
British Retail Consortium standard. Held by partner packing houses. Required by UK and Northern European retailers for branded and own-label.
FSSC 22000
GFSI-recognised food-safety system certification. Held by partner packing houses. Adds prerequisite programs and management requirements on top of ISO 22000.
